About

Hello!

My name is James and I am a videographer and content creator based in Norfolk. I set up Norfolk Video Production to provide a service that specifically caters to the unique requirements of my commercial clients. This business runs alongside my other businesses: Native Origin Limited, which offers my cinematography and documentary filmmaking services, and Norfolk Wedding Videos, which specifically caters to the wedding market.

My education was originally in Architecture, and I completed my undergraduate and master's degrees at the University of Kent. I was also the recipient of a number of prestigious awards, including the RIBA President's Medals Serjeant Award in 2016.

Despite my success in the field of architecture, I knew that I needed to pursue my true passion for film. With that said, my education does give me an edge that helps me approach my projects from a unique perspective, different from my colleagues who attended film school.

I work from home and have a dedicated studio and post-production space at the bottom of my garden. It is nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, and I start every morning with a run to get myself in the most creative frame of mind.

Outside of work, I live with my fiancée Kirsty, who is a local GP, and we have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Eddie.
